I think it would be usefull, to have a thread for this.
here is what i got so far:
Question mark brick(32x32): E3B9F0
Red brick(32x32): E3C4A0
Regular brick block (32x32): E3FD00

All the Mario Sprites are stored at 1943BA0 in lA-4 format they are stored a second time at 1E00BA0 these 2 batches of code are identical with an offset of 4BD000. The sprites stored at 1E00BA0 seem to do nothing but I would recommend changing both addresses until we find what the the addresses at 1E00BA0 are used for

Mario Idle Sprite (32x58) :1943bA0
idle 1 (32 x 60): 19443F0(01E013F0)
idle 2 (32 x 60):19447A0   (1e017a0)
idle 3 (32 x 50):1944B60   (1e01b60)
smile (32 x 60):1945DF0  (1e02df0)

I know this isn't much right now but i'm going to update it a lot. If anyone else has any texture addresses if we could share them here that be greatly appreciated

Hi! I will point out that giving the question mark blocks like that is not actually editing fully the ? block... there is a full animation: examle, end of animation (empty block frame -1) I think is E47CF0... and all the earlyer ones are just like that, E47CB0 (frame -2) just go backwards Smile

The "Press Start" and copyright text is located in the Yay0 block at 027DA76C and is IA8 format. SubDrag's Universal N64 Compressor can handle the Yay0 encoding/decoding and n64rip should be able to export the IA8 image data to a more manageable format.

Edit: tool doesn't seem to have assets for re-encoding pm64

N64rip is just a frontend for the 'n64rawgfx' command line program. You can run it from a command prompt if you want, but below are the same settings entered into N64Rip. If you click the 'Export' button, it will run pretty much the same command that shygoo indicated for you.
